D/s stands for Dominance and Submission. It describes a consensual power dynamic between partners, where one takes on a dominant role and the other a submissive role. While elements of D/s can exist in many relationships, when consciously practiced it is considered part of BDSM. Variations include “Lifestyle D/s,” “24/7,” “Erotic Power Exchange (EPE),” and “Total Power Exchange (TPE).”
POP Friendship
A POP Friendship is also known as friends with benefits, fuck buddy, or friendship plus. Call it what you like—at the end of the day, the idea is casual intimacy without a traditional relationship label.
Undefined
Not every relationship fits neatly into a category. “Undefined” means things are a bit more complicated, and both partners aren’t fully clear on what the connection actually is.
